Our Brave New World

I have written poetry all my life, and with the lockdown of 2020, it actually inspired me to write even more. Each one is written with a positive message to give hope for a different life—one that is much more beautiful and glorious.

We all struggle at times, and nobody expected the need for a lockdown—we have not experienced a situation like this for over 100 years, the time of the Spanish flu. You might have imagined it would be ok and that everything would go back to normal. Well, you can never reclaim the old normal, but we can all learn to live in the new normal that emerges.

So I wrote these poems to reflect all of this and to give you a foretaste of Our Brave New World.
