Human by birth. Angelic by upbringing. Apprentice by rank. Catastrophically unprepared for Earth.

I've spent twenty-one years in Heaven dreaming of earning my wings. There's just one tiny complication: I'm not technically an angel.

Neither are Jade and Chloe.

We're human girls raised among halos, and apparently Heaven believes a little training is all we need to become guardian angels. Our first assignment sounds simple enough: move to Angel Bay, run a beachside gift shop, blend in with the mortals, and—most importantly—do no harm.

We fail at that last one almost immediately.

Between pepperoni pizza, dangerously attractive men, and powers no one adequately explained, the mortal world is far more tempting—and confusing—than any of us expected. When a little harmless angelic assistance goes spectacularly wrong, a murder mystery lands on our doorstep, and the infuriatingly sexy Zane keeps looking at me as if he knows I'm hiding something.

Unfortunately, he's hiding a few things too.

Now my friends and I must untangle Angel Bay's supernatural secrets, repair the damage we accidentally caused, and prove we deserve our wings before Heaven decides sending us to Earth was its biggest mistake.

We may be human by birth and disasters by nature, but we're learning.
