Publisher Description

This is a wrongful death action brought by Laura Rabe against Outagamie county and its vehicle insurer, Hartford Accident and Indemnity Company. In her capacity as personal representative of the estate of her deceased brother, Elmer W. Rabe, she alleged one cause of action for compensation for pain suffered prior to death and for various burial expenses. In her personal capacity, the plaintiff sought recovery for pecuniary loss under the wrongful death statute. The plaintiff and her deceased brother had never married, and it is alleged that she had substantially relied on him for support throughout her life.
