KING, Circuit Judge: Theodore F. Randall, an employee of Chevron, U.S.A., Inc. (""Chevron""), drowned after unsuccessfully attempting a swing rope transfer from a fixed platform in the Gulf of Mexico to the M/V SEA SAVAGE. Randall's widow, Barbara Randall, brought suit individually, on behalf of Randall's estate, and on behalf of their children against Chevron and Sea Savage, Inc. (""Sea Savage""). The matter was tried to the court, and the court entered judgment against the defendants. This appeal followed.1
