Valentine Raudenbush suffered fatal injury while taking part in a shifting operation in defendants yard in Philadelphia on the night of February 2, 1944. This action was brought by his wife, as administratrix, to recover damages for his death under the Federal Employers Liability Act, 45 U.S.C.A. § 51 et seq., the Safety Appliance Acts, 45 U.S.C.A. §§ 1-16, and the Boiler Inspection Act, 45 U.S.C.A. §§ 22, 23.
