No, this is not a book about mosaics, but the name could not be more adequate taking in consideration the nature of this book. This book is a book about Rome, the eternal city. What makes this book a Roman Mosaic is that it is written by gathering old facts from many different sources and compiled together in order to create a beautiful piece of literature with cultural and historical value.

There are so many books written about Rome, but it still seems like it is not enough, as this city has much more to offer and show. Although every single thing that is related to Rome or happened in Rome is already told and described in details and it seems that there is nothing else to write about Rome, there are things we can explore about this city from other perspectives.
