In this volume are tales like the gritty, noir “Seventh Victim” and the humorous tale of science out of control in “Such Blooming Talk.” Science fiction’s prophetic side is represented with an eerie foretelling of romance in a world run by computer games and social networking in “Manners of the Age.” In this anthology you’ll find play scripts suitable to new theater troupes and youth productions in schools as well as scripts that will challenge more seasoned community theater groups. Most of these short plays are intended to be producible with a minimum of set and props, but are flexible enough to allow for plenty of inspired stagecraft.
