Seven Truths about the Table

A mother was dropping her son off at a Christian group. As she was leaving, she was asked, “Where are you going? There’s a place set for you at the table. Are you not joining us?” “Is there really a place set for me?” The answer was, “Why yes, of course. We were expecting you.” It was just a passing comment, but God brought it back to me and started speaking to me about it – especially about the importance of it, because of how highly God values every one of us. All are welcome, a place is laid for all.
