The Book of Being

December 2018: I, initially, wrote this little book for myself. As a reminder of the beauty of life and that we can learn from each and everything that we encounter on our paths. I kept it close by my side. And each time I opened the book and read a few passages, I learned something new.

Then, as the year passed, I shared the “book of being” with a few friends. And then, as more people read it, I was urged to publish.

It is an intimate book. One that shows the state of being in which I have been while writing it. With all the flaws and all the hopes that a young man has.

For long, I thought that my inner processes of growth were things no one would interest. And only later, I realized that we might all share similar questions in life, and we might all attain a clearer picture by taking different perspectives to look at the mystery that surrounds and lives through us.

And so had this book been like a personal guide to me. It is short. And simple. Just how I believe our lives are.

The Book of Being contains nine short stories of different characters. Each story describes the world from the perspective of the particular character and opens up new viewpoints about life.

It is my earnest belief that we can learn from everything that surrounds us, and from everyone that crosses our life-path. The question is: Do we see it?

And so, each time you'll read this book, you may find a different message in it. With time we grow and with time we often see the same things a little differently.

This small book is written to be either an uplifting short-read or to be contemplated on the deeper insights in each chapter. The choice is yours.
