Which Way America‪?‬

When we look out over the city of Washington, DC, we are captured by the vision of those who laid out this city as the capital of democracy, the capital of freedom. From a distance, the American Dream—liberty, prosperity, religious autonomy—can still seem very real. 

But what will happen to the American Dream right before Jesus comes again? Will it turn to ashes in the hands of those who refuse to love the truth, those who become so blinded that they can actually worship a beast of blasphemy? Or is it going to be realized in a way much more glorious than we have imagined?
