35 Christmas Cards
Descripción editorial
A biography in Xmas Cards
There was this drawing of a little character with a too small glass in his hand. I did the drawing in the summer of 1986, not knowing what to do with it until I turned it into a Christmas card by using the latest state of the art copy machine which was able to print in two colours. Certainly this not what we are used to now. No! It only worked in one colour after the other and the choice of colours was slightly limited: Sky blue, an odd red and of course black.
I am not sure what made me doing another Christmas card the following year? I only know while writing this, that there are now 35 of them by the end of this year. Looking at number 19 or 7 from the perspective of number 35, they all somehow reflect a bit on how strangely ones life unfolds. I guess I am not the only one figuring that out, but I am sure I‘m the only one who has done 35 Christmas cards to recognise it!
