Building of a Modern World

This textbook is written to cover the unit on Renaissance and the Industrial Revolution for a 6th Grade World History class. It includes many illustrations, theme related videos, and links to webpages related to the topics for further expanding of knowledge and transversality with other subjects. 


Each unit in the series ends with a project the students work on in teams. Some books include teacher tips and quizzes. 


The Renaissance Period section divides the material into categories: Learning, Science, Architecture, Literature, Exploration, Reformation, Inventions, and important personalities.


Industrial Revolution covers The building of new modern cities, industry, discoveries, inventions, industrialists, and after effects.
