The University of Manchester Palaeontology and Geochemistry Research Group have been studying fossils in a rather novel way. 


This text is an introduction to their world where particle physics and palaeontology collide to reveal some stunning geochemical results.


The colourful results in this study suggest that colour is more than just a pigment of our imagination, especially when it comes to reconstructing prehistoric life!
