Descripción editorial
I wasn’t looking to write a book. In fact, the thought had never even crossed my mind until one day in 2002 when a friend emailed me something out of the blue. It was an article published by a major news outlet about how Christianity is harmful to animals. WHAT!? I thought to myself. As I read the article, I became painfully aware of the conflicting viewpoints between a well-known animal rights activist and a prominent leader in the Christian community. When I read what both had to say, I was grieved. Their argument concerned the sanctity of life. Regrettably, I disagreed with some of the Christian’s comments, whereas I actually thought the animal rights activist had some valid points.
I wrote this book to resolve the fundamental differences between those two viewpoints, and the difference is: all life is valuable and precious in the sight of God, but all life is not valuable and precious in the sight of man.
