Descripción editorial
This is an unedited collection of four e-mails I sent on September 11-14, 2001 from my home in the Williamsburg neighborhood of the borough of Brooklyn in New York City. They were first drafts. I began with the first word and hit send after the last word in each of them.
I am told these were printed and posted on a bulletin board at The United States Military Academy at West Point daily during the crisis.
I offer them to add to the public record of this unique day in history.
