Once Upon This Path

My poetry writing has been inspired by the beauty of the outdoors, the trials of life, and of course love. I was probably fourteen when I fell head over heels for Kim. I haven't seen her in years and she's long since married, but there's still a place in my heart for her, and always will be. My mom, dad, brother, friends and relatives have all encouraged me to keep writing and put together a book. I thank you all. The first poem in my book is a favorite of mine that was written by my grandfather to my grandmother. He wrote beautiful poetry for years but didnt save his writings until he was in his seventies.
