Shattered Reality

Jem Wilmont's easy-going life was shattered in a horrible event that killed her best friend and left her shifting in and out of visibility. Randomly at first, it takes months for her to learn to control her mutation. Months learning to live with all its ramifications because invisibility is the least dangerous aspect of her new and unwanted ability.

The scientists that caused the devastating accident took responsibility for Jem after realizing what had happened.
