The Mysterious Mr. Quin

Mr Harley Quin appears wherever an old story has been left unfinished — a house party, an inn, a death everyone has agreed to forget — and says almost nothing while his friend Mr Satterthwaite does the talking. Christie called these her favorite stories: the detection is thin, the atmosphere is not, and she kept the pair for occasions when a puzzle alone would not do.
