As people ask him about the fundamental experiences of human life, he offers meditations on love, marriage, children, giving, work, freedom, friendship, beauty, good and evil, and death.

Written in lyrical and accessible prose, The Prophet has become one of the most widely read works of philosophical and spiritual literature, offering reflections that invite readers to pause and consider the deeper dimensions of everyday life.
