Westall ’66: a suburban UFO mystery – Study Guide

Descripción editorial

This ATOM study guide is designed to accompany the viewing of the film Westall ’66: a suburban UFO mystery.

On 6 April 1966, in the Australian suburb of Westall, about 200 students, staff and local residents watched as a strange object appeared overhead, landed briefly nearby, then took to the sky and vanished. The event took about twenty minutes.

Westall ’66: a suburban UFO mystery is an intriguing real-life mystery documentary. It is an an excellent resource for introducing middle and upper secondary students to the problem of ‘truth’ and the issues surrounding how we know what we know.

The study guide includes information and activities as well as excerpts from the film.

The other two ATOM iBooks in this series are Westall ’66: a suburban UFO mystery – A Supplementary History Study Guide and Westall ’66: a suburban UFO mystery – Video Book.
