Paris: With Pen and Pencil
Publisher Description
My object has been to add somewhat to the general reader's knowledge of Paris and the Parisians, — of the people and the place, whose social laws are the general guide of the civilized world. Few people now a days go direct to Paris from Amer ica. They land in Liverpool, get at least a birds-eye view of the country parts of England, stay jn London a week or two, or longer, and then cross the channel for Paris.
