Publisher Description
John Galsworthy's early satire of middle-class complacency and artistic aspiration stands as one of his best novels outside "The Forsyte Saga". It is the story of a bohemian upper-class love triangle, and of a mystic tract.

Brilliant writing, plot not too exciting.
A one-time book. I don't feel like reading it once more. But it was worthwhile. The author's wording is really outstanding, the use of techniques is masterly. If you enjoy reading Dickens, this is your author, and your book.
