The Art or Crafte of Rhetoryke

The other kind of justice which men call Equitie is where by a man neither taken nor give less nor more than he ought / but in gyuynge taken good had that every man have according as he deserveth. This Equitie is again decided into Equitie distributed of comon things & Equitie Commutative. By Equitie distribute is distributed and given of comon goods to every man according to his deservings and as he is worthy to have. As to decide among such as long to the Church of the Church goods after the quality of they merytes: and to them being Civil persons of the comon treasure of the Citie according as they are worthy.
