Publisher Description
George Burns' career spanned the history of modern show business. From vaudeville to Vegas, radio to television, and books to films, he was one of the last great entertainers. 100 Years, 100 Stories is a testament of his comedic brilliance and a shining example of why he became one of America's national treasures.
Burns left his legion of fans a priceless collection of humorous stories as an enduring gift and testament to his wit and charm. This audio program, voiced by the gifted impersonator John Byner, finds the legendary centenarian recounting his personal favorite stories of the events and personalities he experienced and encountered during his career. He tells us of other entertainment giants who crossed his path ¿ including Al Jolson, Groucho Marx, Jack Benny, Bob Hope, Ann-Margaret, Goldie Hawn, and, of course, his beloved wife, Gracie Allen ¿ bringing his unique, dry humor to each anecdote.

Good book
i was given this on cassett for my birthday many years ago. Its Mr. Burns's stories read by John Byner. Just as the given info says. The storys are great and tell the story of how he came to be one of the greatest ever.
Don't waste your money
iTunes cleverly ropes you in with a charming preview, featuring George and Gracie. But this audiobook is "bait and switch" at its finest. The narrator, John Byner, takes up almost all of the content and rushes through it with little to no passion. Roughly 3 minutes (at best) goes to George. I'm very disappointed and will be extra careful about future iTunes purchases. Shame on iTunes.
