Two acclaimed narrators lend star power, drama, and polish to the first book in James Patterson’s Women’s Murder Club series. Together, Oscar winner Melissa Leo (The Fighter) and character actor Dylan Baker (The Good Wife) skillfully handle the thriller’s sizable cast, including the quartet of sleuthing heroines. The actors’ finely calibrated vocal performances helped us distinguish all the different characters, and kept us immersed in the book’s breathless, fast-paced plot as Patterson’s team of investigators races to hunt down a killer who is stalking newlyweds across the country.

Patterson Again
One of the best whodunnits you might hope for. Just a bit raw in spots. Excellent narration too.
Good book, terrible narration
The cartoon-like narration was distracting, made me want to turn it off.
Pretty good
At first I was not getting into it, and the narrator was annoying, but I’m glad I decided to keep listening, as it ended up being a pretty good book, and I liked the main character.
