Customer Reviews
It’s ok. For general purposes only.
The good.
Simple, easy to understand, short, practical, useful, plain English, good examples.
The bad.
Over simplified, to generalized, to politically correct, no complex examples, mixed in other concepts, seamed contrived at times.
Who this is for. Average people and average interactions.
Why 2 stars. What’s in the book can be found on YouTube. For the price I payed it did not deliver.
My full explanation. I’m an engineer, working for my family business. I’m having a terrible time communicating obvious business details. Such as cost reductions on our products. How to go about research, basic project management. The list goes on. Every time i make a communication it ends in a big argument. I present facts, my family responds with emotions. The book didn’t help. I might have to get expert help for my specific case. It might be me but i just don’t know.
If you have a complex situation, like fighting with you spouse no matter how hard you try. This book can’t help.
If you have a neighbor that is a bit nosy. This book can help.
If you work for family like me. And facts somehow always lead to arguments in a bad way. This book won’t help.
If your coworkers get a bit frustrated with your emails from time to time. This book is for you.
Good luck, matt
