Publisher Description
Nora Helmer has everything a young housewife could want: Beautiful children, an adoring husband, and a bright future. But when a carelessly buried secret rises from the past, Nora’s well-calibrated domestic ideal starts to crumble. Ibsen’s play is as fresh today as it was when it first stormed the stages of 19th-century Europe.
Recorded in Los Angeles before a live audience at the James Bridges Theater, UCLA in September, 2011.

The Title
To Zen,
Because the original play was Norwegian, the title doesn't translate directly. Scholars accept both "A Doll House," and "A Doll's House." While the different titles do infer different meanings for the play, it also includes different ways of interpretting the play. However it is read very well and was indeed a treat to listen to.
Hello?!
The name of Ibsen's play is NOT
A Doll House!!!!!
It is- A Doll's House
What a treat
This was such a treat to listen to. I really enjoyed the actors bringing the story to life. Felt like I was being told the story in my own living room. I was so enthralled, I lost track of time. Well done. (made me miss the times when I was in the play!)
