Unique Contemporary Romance
I’m familiar with this author and I really enjoy listening to her stories. This was a very realistic story with a veteran suffering from PTSD. Tyler is nothing like any of the main characters in my other books. He is a homeless man and has been having flashbacks from when he was in the military. Kelly and Bree are also unique characters. Bree doesn’t have a father because Kelly opted for artificial insemination.
Narration was pretty good and brought the story to life.
This is a very unique Christmas romance with some misunderstandings and some ups and downs. Kelly is trying to hide some of her mistakes and makes some bad calls. Both main characters needed second chances.
Once the heart becomes involved, it's over.
Bree embodies childhood. Innocence, mischief and a trusting hopefulness that makes for nostalgic youthful memories. Elizabeth Klett brings back all the sentiment and humor that made it adorable to rediscover.
A wonderfully written story
I thoroughly enjoyed listening to A Father for Christmas by Rachelle Ayala.
This is the story of Kelly, a single mom who has had to face a very rough situation, her 4 year old daughter Bree, and Tyler, a homeless veteran who suffers from ptsd.
I was immediately drawn to the characters and their story. I have to admit, I didn't want it to end. While the book did not end on a cliffhanger, I would love for their story to continue.
