Abridged version of text
Loved this recording, but just to be clear, this is an abridged version of the book with the same title. So if you were hoping to get the full book, this recording isn’t it.
Pessimistic Tone
Having read several of Thich Nhat Hanh’s & the Dalai Lama’s books, I was shocked how the author immediately goes into his need for years of therapy… post becoming a monk?! The final section is on how to find a spiritual teacher (of whom he is very opinionated… I would goes as far as arrogant). If you’re looking to grow and be happy then this book offers very little. Wish I got a refund
