This entire series is amazing. You will truly regret not reading this. The spicy scenes are thigh pressing good and the over whole storyline is outrageously amazing.
I have never in my life been turned on, sobbed, and angry with a book series before.
A Shadow in the Ember
This audiobook narrator enunciates certain words very oddly, and it is to the extent where this must be said first and foremost within this review. I found myself eye-rolling at the point where my suspense of disbelief wore off. It was truly peculiar and laughable to hear the same word become progressively more dramatically pronounced. The word is “Ether” and was being pronounced more and more as if a person in a ghost costume were saying the word. Phonetically it goes “eeeeEEEtherr”. The story line was immature, the spicy scenes felt choppy within the story as if they were written with great thought and then spliced in forcefully whether it flowed as part of the storyline or not. The characters are fairly two dimensional. There are some brief moments of artistic inspiration from the author, but it’s not enough to ignite any real emotion for this book.
Great book
This book is great and I typically love this voice actress but the way she says “eeeether” drawn out every single time gives me unyielding rage.
