Publisher Description
Lawyers. Accountants. Software Engineers. That's what Mom and Dad encouraged us to become. They were wrong. Gone is the age of "left-brain" dominance. The future belongs to a different kind of person with a different kind of mind: designers, inventors, teachers, storytellers - creative and emphatic "right-brain" thinkers whose abilities mark the fault line between who gets ahead and who doesn't.
Drawing on research from around the advanced world, Daniel Pink outlines six fundamentally human abilities that are essential for professional success and personal fulfillment - and reveals how to master them.
From a laughter club in Bombay to an inner-city high school devoted to design, to a lesson on how to detect an insincere smile, A Whole New Mind takes listeners to a daring new place, and offers a provocative and urgent new way of thinking about a future that has already arrived.

Great book!
As a marketer I found this book very helpful when it comes to understand how to sale more effectively.
Worth your time and money
I have 3 children with special needs so I spend a huge amount of time trying to understand the brain and how it works and developing creative alternatives for the standard PT and OT...this book was really amazing at explaining how the sides of the brain learn and giving ideas for how to develop them. I bought it first on Itunes but liked it so much that I went out and bought a hard copy of it too that I carry around with me
Very Interesting Stuff!
This book has completely stroked my 'right brain thinking' ego! Being an artist I've always known something was amiss with this 'left brain thinking' world and this audiobook proves it...but seriously this is a VERY interesting if not IMPORTANT audio book by Daniel Pink. A serious cautionary tale for our society that we MUST heed.
