Great characters, interesting new world
A mafia story, Aldo is an enforcer and a strong character who falls for down on her luck, Violet. As usual, the hero falls fast and hard, although Aldo resisted a bit because of his concerns about his position. I liked that Violet was a stronger character with plenty of comebacks and resistance that made her more than just one note. I thought that the ending was a bit too rushed, with Aldo’s switch to accepting love a little unbelievable. That said, I am so excited about this interesting new world and can’t wait for Roman’s story!
