Publisher Description
Lewis Carroll was a minister in the Church of England and a Professor of Mathematics at Christ Church College. In his diary he described "An expedition up the river to Godstowe with the the three Liddells", daughters of the college Dean, "on which occasion I told them the fairy tale of 'Alice's Adventures Underground', which I undertook to write out for Alice".
That afternoon changed childhood for generations to come as Carrol displayed his incredible talent for mathematical paradox and for creating a charming and significant nonsense world.

Ok for the money
First, I could read better than this narrator. She's so-so. What really stinks is that the sound quality for Through the Looking Glass is MUCH worse than for the first book. Don't trust the preview.
5.00?!?! Awesome!!!
I was so excited to see the price! At first, I was a little disappointed at the narrator, but I quickly got over it. She reads it quite well, and has great diction. This is wonderfully read, and so much cheaper than the others you could buy here! I love this story, and can't wait for Tim Burton's movie of it to come out!!!
