This novella was rather humorous. It was written in a sort of “tongue in cheek” kind of way. This was the first time that I ever read something written by MacKinnon so I’m not sure if that’s her writing style but if it is I’ll definitely have to read more of her. I’ve already put the rest of this series on my TBR list. I loved the aliens and their crazy abduction culture. Though they had no idea of what they were doing their intentions were pure.
Bridget and Jake Bordeaux brought this story to life in numerous ways for me. Although Jake tended to over enunciate his words he did put effort into differentiating the males by using different voices for them. Bridget’s pacing was fabulous and she used an absolutely wonderful voice for a secondary character. It made me an instant fan of hers.
Awkward and just corn
This is kinda short and ridiculous really, it feels pretty awkward, the spicy parts are just eh nothing special really and the aliens only think about sex, is pretty annoying to listen to them talking about how they want “their female” to touch them etc, like from an alien space thing I didn’t expect much this is my first in the genre but it left me very disappointed, feeling awkward and uncomfortable, at points it did make me laugh a bit of how ridiculous it was but yeah this is not for me
Strange and entertaining
I say strange because it’s my first alien spicy book, but I dig it. Kept me interested, wish it was longer, but done quite well for the length.
