great love story perfect ending !
Loved the story- didn’t like the narrator
I’m giving this audiobook at 4 star review bc I really enjoyed the book, but the narrator sounded like she was literally a computerized voice.
In terms of the book itself, it’s very raw. It was very personal to me because I also struggle with fertility. It made me sad, angry, happy and I enjoyed it a lot.
Painful and repetitive
Painful and redundant. I usually love her books but this just perpetuated the same sadness, despair and to some extent it felt like whining over and over alternating with sex scenes from happy times. It tried to pull itself together in the last 45 minutes but it could have happened 4 hours earlier. I ended up needing to skip at least 2 hours due to the monotonous pattern of angst vs sex/love scenes. As someone who has lived the IVF world I appreciate the attempt to understand the effect on love, sex, self but this would have been a better short story.
