Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf

I'm writing this as a review of the audiobook and also reading the ebook during some of the story since I have both. the narration was great. I felt like I was a part of the story. The narrator helped bring the story to life. This also made some parts even scarier and some parts so hot I almost had to pull off the road while driving. lol. This author really knows how to tell a story. I loved it. I don't know if I could handle being Mia and having to try and hide away from the mob and also my family. While I know readers always look for different takes on wolf shifters but sometimes come up with them mostly being the same, I have to say, this book had a really great presentation of it. I loved how Mia would stand up to Dominic's neanderthal alpha ways. Sometimes he was like a spoiled brat. She never hesitated to tell him what she thought. I'm sure she can help put him in his place. I'm curious to see if this story continues letting us know how their relationship grows. I won't spoil anything but there's things I would like to know. however, this didn't end on a cliff hanger. And before I close, I want to say, the villain was so awful. at first I sort of felt for him but in the end, I wanted him to suffer and pay. Now I wonder about the king. Will he follow the law or will he bend it to suit his desires?
