An Exorcism of Evil

Since the dawn of man, humanity has been troubled by an underlying evil that has shadowed him since time immemorial. He has been followed across the world, harassed, abused and wickedly tormented by something so cunning and nefarious that it has become the subject of numerous blockbuster Hollywood films. Today we call this Possession and historical records show that mankind fought back. No matter what religion, no matter which continent, methods of fighting evil have developed and adapted over the centuries just as the evil itself has. In our Western world we are more familiar with the Christian Rite or Exorcism and the frightening scenes we see in films such as "The Exorcist." This program explores the reality of this truly evil, demonic power and the brave individuals who have attempted to fight it. With dramatic recreations and expert interviews, we get to grips with the world's most ancient enemy.
