I love this high fantasy book
Sistina is an incredibly interesting character. If you've read Patricia Briggs' recent books and understood that Underhill is simultaneously a place and a person, you'll understand Sistina. Sistina is a lot more benevolent than Underhill.
The evil villains in this book are seriously evil, like nightmare-inducing evil. The ending left me craving more, so I'm looking forward to Spells of Old.
