Enchanting
With this what could be considered a cynical approach towards the angel-seekers, Sharon Shinn instead gives us a picture of grace and joy. The main characters work within the constructs of Samaria, but reflect the imperfections of all humans - something the Gods have yet to program out. As a romance novel, it is ok, but as a fantasy/sic-fi novel focused towards women it is a success. Even the unworthy among us shall be blessed with moments of joy and romantic success.
After completing this novel, I look forward to the next Samaria novel.
