GREAT BOOK, it was like the author was talking directly to me.
So bad it will make you angry
This is one of the most banal books I’ve ever read.
Do not buy.
The 21-day structure of the book is simply a reflection of its number of dull chapters.
There is no “checklist”.
But there are lists of some things like reasons people may become angry at work “because they don’t like their job may not be able to get another.”
If someone is angry at work you may want to contact Human Resources or consult an outside agency.
“Also some vaguely racist things like you may think that Asian people show little emotion or are stone-faced….”
Mostly though it doesn’t work. At all.
I was listening to this book after an absolutely blissful day, meditating for 1/2 an hour, laying down in my bed, under the influence of CBD and a Xanex, half asleep and I literally became enraged after 20 minutes of this fake bot-reviewed trash.
This sounds like something that a government lifer put together in an afternoon using government web sites as its sources.
And when I say government, I don’t mean a state university, I mean like some small corner of the defense department or the Parks and Recreation Service in a dry county in one of the square-shaped states.
Another time, I was listening to the book on headphones and I got into a fight with an elderly couple outside of a nursing home.
Even if you feel as calm as a glass of tap water, do not read this book. It will make your blood boil.
