The best word to describe Toni and Maya’s relationship is “frenemies”. Although Maya has always outwardly acted supportive of Toni’s relationship with her ex-boyfriend Ty, she has been nursing bitterness and hate for years. Revenge has been the singular force driving Maya forward. 

Now, she has a handsome fiancé of her own and a thriving career, but not all is what it appears. Her beau, Steven, has secrets of his own. Not only is he not interested in Maya, he’s not interested in women at all!
