Fantastic Story & Narration🎧 Gripping & Heartfelt!
I am amazed and can not believe that this is my first book written by Brenna Aubrey, how have I not heard of her before is beyond me. I enjoyed this book immensely, the storylines are interesting and original, they grabbed my attention right from the start and continued to hold it all the way to the end. The characters are realistic, easy to relate to and connect with. Mia Strong, a student struggling to make ends meet, she has her eyes set on medical school but she needs to pass the MCATs first. She works part-time at the hospital and runs a blog for her gaming hobby. Her best friend is her support system and helps her with her crazy idea to auction off her virginity to help fund her education and help pay her mother’s bills. He sets up the online auction and screens the highest bidders, he chooses the one he thought suit her best, Adam Drake, software prodigy and self made millionaire. Turns out he is the creator and owner of the game Mia and her friends play. They set up a meeting and Mia is a bit intimidated by him she decides he is not her fit but he convinces her otherwise. I really loved how everything plays out in this book, the chemistry between them is undeniable, each of them have their own issues, she is upfront about hers but learning his came in pieces. This book is cleverly plotted and there is never a dull moment with plenty of drama, heartfelt and emotional moments, some angst, some twists and a bit of a slow burn romance. I like the author keeps you on your toes, wondering what his deal really is and his motivation. I had my suspicion and an idea but it was still rewarding in the end. Brenna Aubrey, thank you for the wonderful story and emotional rollercoaster ride, I am looking forward to what comes next in this awesome series.
Kirsten Leigh is a fantastic narrator and voice artist. She brings the characters to life, giving each their own distinct voice which makes it easy to follow along. She does an awesome job portraying the character, truly grasping each persona and playing that role with perfection, capturing their emotions and projecting them into her performance. She is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for the awesome listen🎧
