Amazing read
I loved this book ! Lake Montgomery is a partner at Montgomery Ink. She was in a relationship for way longer than she should have stayed even after things got bad. She is not looking for anything from anyone not even when she really needs a little help sometimes. After winning an award she has worked hard for she is expected to go to a retreat that will mostly be all men which is not something she wants to but she knows she has to go. Nick having issues of his own going on steps right in to go with lake to the retreat. These two bicker and fight but even than the chemistry is crazy between them when they finally realize that they really like each other they both have to conqueror some demons from their past to be great for each other now!!
Love Nick and Lake
OMG, I love Lake and Nick. I mean how could you not. Growly Alpha meets strong female entrepreneur. Nick feels he's not worthy of her, but I beg to differ with him. When Lake needs him most he's there. No matter what. And that is how you become worthy. Good times and bad, you're there. So dude, take a chill pill and just enjoy your love and time together. Oh and welcome to the Montgomery cult.
Samantha Cook is always a pleasure to listen to and she does Lake justice. Lately, I've been toying with new male narrators. I think this is only the second book I've listened to narrated by Oscar Reyes. Truly a pleasure. He is Nick. Growly and sulky. Kudos.
