Second Chance
When James and Cecilia were younger, they fell in love. However, when he asked her to marry him, she turned him down. He was the son of a well-to-do farmer and she the daughter of a duke. She did not want scandal to touch other members of her family. Both were heart-broken. Almost twenty years later, they find themselves at odds with the same contemptible earl. As odd as it may sound, Cecilia offers a solution that will take care of the threat to both of them. They will marry. This is a delightful second chance story. They will have to let go of the past and move forward. It may take some work, and surely a lot of patience, but it will be worth it. Lovely story and enjoyable narration.

Outstanding sweet regency 2nd chance audiobook
I thoroughly enjoyed this short (just over 2 hrs) and sweet regency romance and the narrator did a great job! Cecilia and James were young and in love 20 years ago when she rejected him because of her own uncertainties and inferiority, but the flame never died. Now she’s older and wiser, and more confident in her own skin. When they meet again at a house party and find a common enemy, they reopen communication and new links are forged. Even though they both are hesitant to reopen old wounds, the heart won’t be silenced and they gather the courage to let old feelings reignite!.
