Great
Cute romantic book. Easy to read
Good potential, poor execution
This story had potential. If it weren’t for the fact that it was rather simple, elementary, and predictable, it would have been a better read. There wasn’t much character development, and the mail interest didn’t demonstrate anything particularly attractive or appealing. The writing and editing had some mistakes. “ The words literally poured out of her mouth“ was a sentence that made me cringe at the inaccurate use of the word ‘literally’. Not good! The narration was pretty good except for the portrayal of a couple characters. While I am a huge proponent of stories that do not rely on raunchiness or violence to create dramatic effect, this story was a little overboard as far as being straight laced and buttoned up. Lastly,
The main characters were in their 50s and were being portrayed as if they were in there 80s, which seemed silly. For a free read, give it a go, but otherwise I could not recommend it.
Three Cheers for Romance for older women!
Well written. Lovely storyline. Happy endings.
