Swords, ships, villains, heroes, spirited heroine; what’s not to like?
Fun swashbuckler (imagine young Errol Flynn as Beauvallet). Not as substantial as many of Heyer’s books but, as always, her research is impeccable. Besides being a sentimental favorite of mine, Matt Addis gives a great reading.
