The prequel
I love this book! I have read the whole series in like 2 weeks. All I wanted. Was to hear hear ding perspective in the first book. That is exactly what this book does! I can not recommend this series enough. They are so much better than the movies. I always hated when people said that. However I get it now! I love hearing the other side of it all.
My favorite in the series!
This is my favorite book in the whole series! I loved hearing from Hardin POV and it definitely changes your perspective of him in book 1, he truly was fighting some demons and was truly trying his best to be better for Tessa. I also loved hearing some of the characters POV and having a little bit of there backstory and letting their voices be heard. As we know from the previous books that Steph was never really a friend to Tessa but hearing it from Hardin perspective she truly is the worst person on the planet! What surprised me the most is my favorite chapter of this book is Zeds chapter. I loved having more insight in Zeds character and to know he really did care for Tessa but knew Hardin and Tessa had a special kind of love and loved having that glimmer of hope that Zed too will have a happily ever after.
