Great ending to this series!
Beneath the Surface, Sugarlake Series #4
Narrators Blake Lockheart and Cecily Foster really brought out the emotion of Lily and Mason and kept me interested in the story.
Lily has been on the run with her son for years, living in a small town in AZ where she feels safe yet alone. Alex/Mason is the new guy to town and Lily can't help but notice him and become acquaintances. This was an emotional journey that was full of heartache and how love can help you conquer those past experiences. Mason can not deny the attraction to Lily but he struggles with his feelings and how Lily is his job. There is a little mystery and little by little Mason's past as well as Lily's come to light. Mason was adorable with Lily's son Chance, so so sweet!!! I felt this was a fantastic ending to this series and would definitely recommend this book and series to other readers who love an emotional book with wonderful characters!
