Publisher Description
Noble Prize winner T. S. Eliot wrote some of the best-known, most widely discussed poetry of the past 100 years. He was a daring and uncompromising innovator. With dramatic, original music, and expressive interpretation, this recording dramatizes why his works continue to influence literature - and touch contemporary listeners.
Included are "The Love Son of J. Alfred Prufrock", "The Hollow Men", "Preludes", and "Portrait of a Lady".

DO NOT BUY THIS BOOK
I should have paid attention to the reviews before I downloaded this. GBox hit the nail on the head -- cheezy. The music detracts instead of adding to the experience. DO NOT BUY THIS BOOK!
Not a bang, but a sad, silly whimper
This isn't really what you're probably expecting from a reading of T.S. Eliot's poetry. Rather, it's several overly dramatic recitations over some pretty cheesy music and sound effects. T.S. Eliot wrote words that stand on their own and if you've ever heard him read his own work (on several recordings that, unfortunately, aren't yet available on iTunes) he has a wry, understated way of reading that support the mood he was aiming to invoke. This album, however, is just silly and not entertaining at all.
Between the Desire and the Dream: Selected Poems by T. S. Eliot
These people must have hated T.S. Eliot the music is to load and the last section is filled with monotonous music. I don't recommend this to anyone and feel that I robbed!
