The second novel in the #1 New York Times bestselling series.
A demon-riding vampire has gone on a killing spree unlike any the Tri- Cities has ever seen-and the undead and werewolves sent to stop him haven't returned. A coyote is no match for a demon, but shapeshifting mechanic Mercy Thompson is immune to many vampiric powers-and those are her friends who are missing, including the two werewolves circling around her heart. Game on...
The series takes on a whole new feel when you can read/listen to the books back to back and also have the foreknowledge of what is going to happen in the future. Since I am in such a place going back and re-reading/listening to the series from the beginning, it is shedding new light on characters behaviors and also a fun refresher.
It had been so long since I read this book initially Ill be honest I didn't remember it at all. Nine years to be exact. I loved rediscovering Mercy's beginnings again. This story is pivotal, they all are, and they all tie together. This isn't a series to start in the middle. It's best to start in the beginning.
Like all of the others, Blood Bound is exciting, thrilling, and action-packed and the perfect Mercy book, I loved it once again. 5 Boundless Stars
